Hadith.208 - Ammar ibn Musa al-Sabati asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq about a menstruating woman who performs ghusl (ritual bathing) while saffron remains on her body and is not removed by the water.
Imam
said: 'There is no harm in it.'
He also asked about a woman who performs ghusl and has braided hair but does not undo it; how much water suffices for her?
Imam
said: 'The amount that is absorbed by her hair, which is three handfuls over her head, two handfuls on the right side, and two handfuls on the left side, after which She should run her hands over her entire body.'
