My father narrated to us. He said: `Abdullah b. al-Hasan al-Mu’addab narrated to us. He said: Ahmad b. `Ali al-Isfahani narrated to us from Ibrahim b. Muhammad al-Thaqafi. He said: Abu Raja’ Qutayba b. Sa`id narrated to us from Hammad b. Zayd from `Abd al-Rahman al-Sarraj from Nafi` from Ibn `Umar. He said:

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Whoever prefers one of my companions over `Ali has disbelieved.
