Al-Husayn b. Ahmad b. Idris narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to us from Muhammad b. Ahmad b. Yahya b. `Imran al-Ash`ari from Muhammad b. Adam from al-Hasan b. `Ali al-Khazar from al-Husayn b. Abi’l `Ala’ from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad . He said: I heard him say:

The most beloved of worshipers to Allah is a man who is truthful in his speech, maintaining his prayers and what Allah has obligated him with, and fulfilling trusts. Then, he said: Whoever is entrusted with a trust and fulfills it will be unfastened from one thousand collars of fire. So, hasten to fulfilling trusts, for when one is entrusted with a trust, Iblis assigns one hundred devils from his demons to misguide him and whisper to him to diminish him – except for one whom Allah protects.
