H 439 - It is narrated from Al-Fadhl bin Shadhan from Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Abi Nasr from Tha'laba from Badr bin Khalil Al-Azdi that he said: Abu Ja'far said: “Two signs will occur before the Qa'im , they both never occurred since Adam came down to Earth: there will be a solar eclipse in the middle of the month of Ramadan, and a lunar eclipse at the end of it.” So a man said: “Oh son of Allah’s Messenger, doesn't a solar eclipse (usually) occur at the end of the month and lunar eclipse in the middle of it?” Abu Ja'far replied: “I know what you are saying, but they are both signs which have not occurred since Adam came down.”
