3. Muĥammad ibn Ĥasan (ibn Aĥmad) ibn Walǐed narrated to me from Muĥammad ibn Ĥasan Al-Šaffār, from Muĥammad ibn ‘Isā ibn ‘Ubayd, from Abǐ ‘Abdillāh Zakariyyā Al-Mu`min, from Ayyūb ibn ‘Abdil Raĥmān, Abil Ĥasan Zayd ibn Ĥasan, and ‘Abbād, from Sa’d (ibn Ťarǐf) Al-Iskāf, from Abǐ Ja’far (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)), who said: The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said: Those who want to live like me, die like me, enter the forever green Paradise, and hold on to the tree that my Lord has planted with His own hands, should follow ‘Ali (a.s.) and the successors after him and should submit to (believing in) their virtues. Verily they are the guides with whom Allāh is pleased. He has given them my knowledge and my understanding. They are my descendants who are from my flesh and blood. I complain to Allāh about their enemies from my nation, about those who deny their virtues, and about those who abandon me by (oppressing) them. I swear to Allāh that they will kill my son. May Allāh exclude them from my intercession.
