11. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah from Isma’il ibn Mehran from Muhammad ibn Hafs from abu al-Rabi’ al-Shami who has said the following:
“Abu ‘Abd Allah once speaking to the people who had filled up his house said, ‘You must take notice that those who fail to maintain good relations with their neighbors are not of our people and followers.’”
