3-37 Al-Hussein ibn Ahmad ibn Idris - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Yahya ibn Imran al-Ash’ari linked it up through a chain of narrators to Aba Abdullah as-Sadiq (MGB) who said,

“Three things would constitute being wasteful: wearing indecent garments, throwing away a date seed, and pouring away your leftover water.” The Imam (MGB) added, “There is no wastefulness in eating.”
