عَنْهُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا قَالَ شَكَوْتُ إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) الْوَجَعَ فَقَالَ إِذَا أَوَيْتَ إِلَى فِرَاشِكَ فَكُلْ سُكَّرَتَيْنِ قَالَ فَفَعَلْتُ فَبَرَأْتُ وَ أَخْبَرْتُ بِهِ بَعْضَ الْمُتَطَبِّبِينَ وَ كَانَ أَفْرَهَ أَهْلِ بِلَادِنَا فَقَالَ مِنْ أَيْنَ عَرَفَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) هَذَا هَذَا مِنْ مَخْزُونِ عِلْمِنَا أَمَا إِنَّهُ صَاحِبُ كُتُبٍ يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَكُونَ أَصَابَهُ فِي بَعْضِ كُتُبِهِ.
385. From him, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al-Hassan Bin Ali Bin Al-No’man, from one of our companions who said: I complained to Abu Abdullah (asws) of the aches, so he (asws) said: ‘When you go to your bed, take two (pieces) of sugar’. So he said, ‘I did it. So I was free from it, and I informed one of the doctors who was a renowned one of our city. He said, ‘From where did Abu Abdullah (asws) understand this? This is from the treasures of our knowledge. But he (asws) is the owner of Books. He probably got it from one of his (asws) Books’.
