25. A number from our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Musa Bin Umar Al-Sayqal, from Abu Shuayb Al-Mahaamily, from Abdullah Bin Suleyman who said: Abu Abdullah having said that ‘Amir-ul-Momineen said: ‘An era will come upon the people in which, the debaucher (pervert) would be considered respectable, and nearness would be sought for the immoral, and fair play would be weak’. He (the narrator) said, ‘I said to him , ‘When would that be, O Amir-ul-Momineen ?’ He said: ‘When an entrustment would be regarded as a gain and the Zakat as a loss, and the worship as a protracted (engagement), and the maintenance of good relations as a favour’. He (the narrator) said, ‘I said to him , ‘When would that be, O Amir-ul-Momineen ?’ So he said: ‘When the women become dominant, and the bondmaids would be empowered, and the young boys would assume command’.
