Book 1, Chapter 178

Scaring the camel of the Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu ʿAlayhi waalihi
1 Ḥadīth

سَهْلٌ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَمَّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) قَالَ لَمَّا نَفَّرُوا بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ (صلى الله عليه وآله) نَاقَتَهُ قَالَتْ لَهُ النَّاقَةُ وَ اللَّهِ لَا أَزَلْتُ خُفّاً عَنْ خُفٍّ وَ لَوْ قُطِّعْتُ إِرْباً إِرْباً.


178. Sahl, from Yaqoub Bin Yazeed, from Abdul Hameed, from the one whom he mentioned, who has narrated the following: Abu Abdullah (a.s) said: ‘When they frightened the she-camel of the Rasool Allah ﷺ, the she-camel said to him ﷺ; ‘By Allah (azwj), I will not move one foot from the other even if they cut me into pieces and pieces’.
