1- حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَبَلَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ النَّخَعِيِّ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنْ أُمِّ الْوَلَدِ هَلْ يَصْلُحُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَيْهَا خَصِيُّ مَوْلاهَا وَهِيَ تَغْتَسِلُ قَالَ لا يَحِلُّ ذَلِكَ.

1. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad from ‘Abd Allah ibn Jabalah from ‘Abd al-Malik ibn ‘Utbah from al- Nakha’iy who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a castrated slave; if he can look at his mistress when she takes a bath. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, it is not lawful. 

2- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ مُوسَى (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قُلْتُ يَكُونُ لِلرَّجُلِ الْخَصِيُّ يَدْخُلُ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ فَيُنَاوِلُهُنَّ الْوَضُوءَ فَيَرَى شُعُورَهُنَّ قَالَ لا.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Muhammad ibn Ishaq who has said the following: “I once asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about the case of a man who has a castrated slave; if he can go to his women and provide them water for wudu and look at their hairs. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, he can do so.”’ 

3- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنْ قِنَاعِ الْحَرَائِرِ مِنَ الْخِصْيَانِ فَقَالَ كَانُوا يَدْخُلُونَ عَلَى بَنَاتِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) وَلا يَتَقَنَّعْنَ قُلْتُ فَكَانُوا أَحْرَاراً قَالَ لا قُلْتُ فَالأحْرَارُ يُتَقَنَّعُ مِنْهُمْ قَالَ لا. 

3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn ‘Isma’il ibn Bazi’ who has said the following: “I once asked abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ (a.s.), about the veil of the free women before castrated ones. He (the Imam) said, ‘They would go in the presence of the daughters of abu al-Hassan (a.s.), and they would not use veils.’ I then asked if they were free. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, they were not free.’ I then asked, ‘Is veil necessary the free ones before them (castrated) ones?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘No, it is not so.’”
