1- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنِ الْعَلاءِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا (عَلَيْهِما السَّلام) أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنِ الطَّعَامِ يُخْلَطُ بَعْضُهُ بِبَعْضٍ وَبَعْضُهُ أَجْوَدُ مِنْ بَعْضٍ قَالَ إِذَا رُئِيَا جَمِيعاً فَلا بَأْسَ مَا لَمْ يُغَطِّ الْجَيِّدُ الرَّدِيَّ.
1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Ali ibn al-Hakam from al-‘Ala’ from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “One of the two Imam, (abu Ja’far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, was asked about foodstuff of high and low quality mixed together. He (the Imam) said, ‘If they see all of it, it is not harmful as long as that of good quality does not cover that of low quality.’”
2- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَكُونُ عِنْدَهُ لَوْنَانِ مِنْ طَعَامٍ وَاحِدٍ وَسِعْرُهُمَا شَيْءٌ وَأَحَدُهُمَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الآخَرِ فَيَخْلِطُهُمَا جَمِيعاً ثُمَّ يَبِيعُهُمَا بِسِعْرٍ وَاحِدٍ فَقَالَ لا يَصْلُحُ لَهُ أَنْ يَفْعَلَ ذَلِكَ يَغُشَّ بِهِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ حَتَّى يُبَيِّنَهُ.
2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the case of a man who has various kinds of the same item of foodstuff of the same price of which one is of high quality and one is of low quality but he mixes them together; then sells them for one kind of price. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not proper for him and it is cheating the Muslims unless he informs them of the condition.’”
3- ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَشْتَرِي طَعَاماً فَيَكُونُ أَحْسَنَ لَهُ وَأَنْفَقَ لَهُ أَنْ يَبُلَّهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَلْتَمِسَ زِيَادَتَهُ فَقَالَ إِنْ كَانَ بَيْعاً لا يُصْلِحُهُ إِلا ذَلِكَ وَلا يُنَفِّقُهُ غَيْرُهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَلْتَمِسَ فِيهِ زِيَادَةً فَلا بَأْسَ وَإِنْ كَانَ إِنَّمَا يَغُشُّ بِهِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَلا يَصْلُحُ.
3. Ibn abu ‘Umayr has narrated from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the case of a man who buys foodstuff and thinks is best for him and more sellable if he makes them moist but not intending to increase its quantity. He (the Imam) said, ‘If it does not sell without moistening in other ways and it is without seeking to increase its weight, then it is not harmful, otherwise, it is cheating the Muslims.’”
