On the day of al-Ahzab it was, ‘Ha Mim, they cannot see.’ On the day of Bani Quraydha it was, ‘Oh [giver of] Peace, make them surrender.’ On the day of al-Muraysi‘ which is also the day of Bani al-Mustliq it was, ‘Only to Allah this matter [belongs].' Ḥadīth 2

2. Ali (Ibn Ibrahim) narrated from his father, from some of his companions, from al-Sakuni, that Abu Abdillah al-Sadiq (as) said: A group of people from Muzaynah came to the Prophet (saw) and he asked them, "What is your slogan?" They said, "It is 'Haram' (forbidden)." He replied, "Rather, your slogan is 'Halal' (permissible)." It is also narrated that the slogan of the Muslims on the day of Badr was "Ya Mansur Amit" (O victorious one, bring death!), and the slogan on the day of Uhud for the Muhajirun was "O Banu Abdillah, O Banu Abd al-Rahman," and for the Aws tribe, it was "O Banu Abdillah."
