Ḥadīth 5368

5368 - فِي رِوَايَةِ اَلسَّكُونِيِّ : "أَنَّ عَلِيّاً عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَضَى فِي رَجُلٍ أَقْبَلَ بِنَارٍ فَأَشْعَلَهَا فِي دَارِ قَوْمٍ فَاحْتَرَقَتِ اَلدَّارُ وَ اِحْتَرَقَ أَهْلُهَا وَ اِحْتَرَقَ مَتَاعُهُمْ قَالَ "يُغَرَّمُ قِيمَةَ اَلدَّارِ وَ مَا فِيهَا ثُمَّ يُقْتَلُ" ".

Hadith.5368 - In the narration of Al-Sakuni: "Indeed, Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) ruled regarding a man who came with fire and set it ablaze in the house of some people, causing the house, its inhabitants, and their belongings to burn. Imam (as) said: 'He must compensate for the value of the house and everything in it, and then he is to be executed.'"
