Ḥadīth 5131

5131 - رَوَى يُونُسُ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ: سُئِلَ أَحَدُهُمَا عَلَيْهِمَا اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنْ حَدِّ اَلْأَخْرَسِ وَ اَلْأَصَمِّ وَ اَلْأَعْمَى قَالَ "عَلَيْهِمُ اَلْحُدُودُ إِذَا كَانُوا يَعْقِلُونَ مَا يَأْتُونَ".

Hadith.5131 - Yunus narrated from Ishaq ibn Ammar who said that one of the two Imams (peace be upon them) was asked about the legal punishments (hudud) for a mute, a deaf person, and a blind person. Imam (as) said: "The legal punishments apply to them if they comprehend what they are doing."
