Hadith 1

رَوَى يُونُسُ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ: سُئِلَ أَحَدُهُمَا عَلَيْهِمَا اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنْ حَدِّ اَلْأَخْرَسِ وَ اَلْأَصَمِّ وَ اَلْأَعْمَى قَالَ "عَلَيْهِمُ اَلْحُدُودُ إِذَا كَانُوا يَعْقِلُونَ مَا يَأْتُونَ".

Yunus narrated from Ishaq ibn Ammar who said that one of the two Imams (peace be upon them) was asked about the legal punishments (hudud) for a mute, a deaf person, and a blind person. Imam (a.s) said: "The legal punishments apply to them if they comprehend what they are doing."
