Amr ibn Abi Al-Miqdam narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (a.s) who said: "In the wisdom of the family of Dawood (a.s) it is stated that it is incumbent upon the intelligent person not to travel except for one of three purposes: gathering provisions for the Hereafter, seeking sustenance for livelihood, or indulging in permissible pleasure."
