Ḥadīth 1

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِیمَ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِیِّ عَنِ السَّکُونِیِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَنِ اغْتَابَ مُؤْمِناً غَازِیاً وَ آذَاهُ أَوْ خَلَفَهُ فِی أَهْلِهِ بِسُوءٍ نُصِبَ لَهُ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ وَ یَسْتَغْرِقُ حَسَنَاتِهِ ثُمَّ یُرْکَسُ فِی النَّارِ رَکْساً إِذَا کَانَ الْغَازِی فِی طَاعَهِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ.

1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) narrates from his ancestors that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “One who backbites a believing warrior or hurts him or his family members, this deed will be stored at a place which will destroy all of his good deeds and he will be thrown headlong into Hell if the warrior was obedient to Allah.”
