 أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: صَلَّی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص الْفَجْرَ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ أَقْبَلَ بِوَجْهِهِ عَلَی أَصْحَابِهِ فَسَأَلَ عَنْ أُنَاسٍ هَلْ حَضَرُوا فَقَالُوا لَا یَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ أَ غُیَّبٌ هُمْ فَقَالُوا لَا فَقَالَ أَمَا إِنَّهُ لَیْسَ مِنْ صَلَاهٍ أَشَدَّ عَلَی الْمُنَافِقِینَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الصَّلَاهِ وَ الْعِشَاءِ.

1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. al-Hassan b. Ali al-Washa from Abdillah b. Sinan from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “Didn’t they come? Remember it that offering of no other Salaat is difficult for a hypocrite except this and Isha Salaat.”

 حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِیٍّ مَاجِیلَوَیْهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِیمَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَیْمُونٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ ع قَالَ: اشْتَرَطَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص عَلَی جِیرَانِ الْمَسْجِدِ شُهُودَ الصَّلَاهِ وَ قَالَ لینتهن أقواما [لَیَنْتَهِیَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ] لَا یَشْهَدُونَ الصَّلَاهَ أَوْ لَآمُرَنَّ مُؤَذِّناً یُؤَذِّنُ ثُمَّ یُقِیمُ ثُمَّ آمُرُ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ بَیْتِی وَ هُوَ عَلِیٌّ ع فَلَیُحْرِقَنَّ عَلَی أَقْوَامٍ بُیُوتَهُمْ تحرز [بِحَزْمٍ] مِنَ الْحَطَبِ لَا یَأْتُونَ الصَّلَاهَ.

2. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Ali Majluwayh who said it was narrated to me by Ali b. Ibrahim from his father from Abdillah b. Maymun from Abi Abdillah from his father (a.s.) who said: Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) narrates from his father that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) has made Congregation Prayer compulsory for those living in the neighborhood of a mosque and used to say, “Those who do not pray in congregation will not succeed in their business. I will order the muezzin to give prayer-call and order a personality from my Ahle Bayt, that is Ali, to take a torch in his hand and burn the houses of those who do not pray in congregation.”

 حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنْ عُبَیْدٍ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ سُوَیْدٍ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ حُمَیْدٍ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْنَا أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِیٍّ الْبَاقِرَ ع یَقُولُ مَنْ تَرَکَ الْجُمُعَهَ ثَلَاثاً مُتَوَالِیَاتٍ بِغَیْرِ عِلَّهٍ طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَی قَلْبِهِ.

3.  It  is  narrated  that  Imam  Muhammad  Baqir  (a.s.)  said, “One  who  does  not  attend  Friday  Salaat  continuously  for three weeks without any reason, the Almighty Allah puts a seal on his heart.”

 حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ یَعْقُوبَ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنْ حَرِیزٍ وَ فُضَیْلٍ عَنْ زُرَارَهَ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: صَلَاهُ الْجُمُعَهِ فَرِیضَهٌ وَ الِاجْتِمَاعُ إِلَیْهَا فَرِیضَهٌ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ فَإِنْ تَرَکَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ غَیْرِ عِلَّهٍ ثَلَاثَ جُمَعٍ فَقَدْ تَرَکَ ثَلَاثَ فَرَائِضَ وَ لَا یَدَعُ ثَلَاثَ فَرَائِضَ مِنْ غَیْرِ عِلَّهٍ إِلَّا مُنَافِقٌ وَ قَالَ مَنْ تَرَکَ الْجَمَاعَهَ رَغْبَهً عَنْهَا وَ عَنْ جَمَاعَهِ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ مِنْ غَیْرِ عِلَّهٍ فَلَا صَلَاهَ لَهُ.

4. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Ya’qub b. Yazid from Hamad b. Isa from Hareez and Fudhayl from Zurarah from Abi Ja’far (a.s.) who said: “Congregation Prayer is compulsory and it is obligatory to offer Friday Salaat in congregation with the Imam. Hence one who does not attend Friday Prayer for three consecutive weeks without any valid reason has avoided three obligatory acts and a person who leaves three obligatory acts without any valid reason is a hypocrite. One who avoids offering Prayer in congregation without any reason, none of his prayers is acceptable.”
