أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِیَهَ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ أَبِی سَلَّامٍ عَنْ سَوْرَهَ بْنِ کُلَیْبٍ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: قُلْتُ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- وَ یَوْمَ الْقِیامَهِ تَرَی الَّذِینَ کَذَبُوا عَلَی اللَّهِ وُجُوهُهُمْ مُسْوَدَّهٌ قَالَ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّهُ إِمَامٌ وَ لَیْسَ بِإِمَامٍ قُلْتُ وَ إِنْ کَانَ عَلَوِیّاً فَاطِمِیّاً قَالَ وَ إِنْ کَانَ عَلَوِیّاً فَاطِمِیّاً.
1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Muhammad b. al-Hussain from Ibn Fadhal from Muawiyah b. Wahab from Abi Salam from Sawrah b. Kulayb from Abi Ja’far (a.s.) who said: The narrator asked Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) about the verse, “On the Day of Judgment you will see the faces of those who associated lie with Allah to be black.” Imam (a.s.) replied, “This verse is for one who claims to be an Imam while he is not.” The narrator asked, “Is it so even if he is Alawi and Fatimi?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “Yes, even if he is Alawi and Fatimi.”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَی بْنِ الْمُتَوَکِّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنِ الْمُفَضَّلِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنِ ادَّعَی الْإِمَامَهَ وَ لَیْسَ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا فَهُوَ کَافِرٌ.
2. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Musa b. al-Mutawakil who said it was narrated to me by Abdillah b. Ja’far from Muhammad b. al-Hussain from al-Hassan b. Mahbub from Aban from al-Muffadhal from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “A person who claims to be an Imam while he is not, is an infidel.”
أَبِی ره عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِی هَاشِمٍ الْبَزَّازِ الْأَسَدِیِّ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ فَرْقَدٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنِ ادَّعَی الْإِمَامَهَ وَ لَیْسَ بِإِمَامٍ فَقَدِ افْتَرَی عَلَی اللَّهِ وَ عَلَی رَسُولِهِ وَ عَلَیْنَا.
3. Abi (rah) from Sa’d b. Abdillah from Muhammad b. al-Hussain from Abdulrahman b. Abi Hashim al-Bazaz al-Asadi from Dawud b. Farqad from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “One who claims to be an Imam while he is not, has associated lie with Allah, His Messenger and me.”
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ یَحْیَی أَخِی أُدَیْمٍ عَنِ الْوَلِیدِ بْنِ صَبِیحٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ إِنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ لَا یَدَّعِیهِ غَیْرُ صَاحِبِهِ إِلَّا بَتَرَ اللَّهُ عُمُرَهُ.
4. It is narrated that Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said, “Allah will shorten the life of those who claim to be an Imam except for the true one.”
