 أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ کُلَیْبٍ الصَّیْدَاوِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَکْتُوبٌ فِی التَّوْرَاهِ أَنَّ بُیُوتِی فِی الْأَرْضِ الْمَسَاجِدُ فَطُوبَی لِمَنْ تَطَهَّرَ فِی بَیْتِهِ ثُمَّ زَارَنِی وَ حَقٌّ عَلَی الْمَزُورِ أَنْ یُکْرِمَ الزَّائِرَ.

1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Abdillah b. Ja’far from Muhammad b. al-Hussain from Safwan from Kulayb al-Saydawi from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “It is written in the Old Testament: ‘My houses on earth are mosques. A slave of Mine who performs ablution in his house and come to My house for meeting Me shall have Tooba (a good fortune). Know that it is necessary for the host to honor his guest.”

 حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ جَبَلَهَ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سُلَیْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَکَ وَ تَعَالَی أَلَا إِنَّ بُیُوتِی فِی الْأَرْضِ الْمَسَاجِدُ تُضِی ءُ لِأَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ کَمَا تُضِی ءُ النُّجُومُ لِأَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ أَلَا طُوبَی لِمَنْ کَانَتِ الْمَسَاجِدُ بُیُوتَهُ أَلَا طُوبَی لِعَبْدٍ تَوَضَّأَ فِی بَیْتِهِ ثُمَّ زَارَنِی فِی بَیْتِی أَلَا إِنَّ عَلَی الْمَزُورِ کَرَامَهَ الزَّائِرِ أَلَا بَشِّرِ الْمَشَّاءِینَ فِی الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَی الْمَسَاجِدِ بِالنُّورِ السَّاطِعِ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ.

2.  The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) says, “Know that Allah says, ‘My houses on the earth are mosques. As stars provide light to the people on earth mosques do to the people on heaven. Know that those people have Tooba (good fortune) whose houses are mosques. Also know that a slave of Mine who performs ablution in his house and come to My house for meeting Me shall have Tooba (good fortune). Know that it is necessary for the host to honor his guest. Know that there are  glad tidings of bright light on the Day of Judgment for one who visits the mosque in darkness.

 أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِیلَ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ الْحَکَمِ عَنْ سَیْفِ بْنِ عَمِیرَهَ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ ظَرِیفٍ عَنِ الْأَصْبَغِ بْنِ نُبَاتَهَ قَالَ قَالَ أَمِیرُ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ع إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لَیَهُمُّ بِعَذَابِ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ جَمِیعاً لَا یُحَاشِی مِنْهُمْ أَحَداً إِذَا عَمِلُوا بِالْمَعَاصِی وَ اجْتَرَحُوا السَّیِّئَاتِ فَإِذَا نَظَرَ إِلَی الشِّیبِ نَاقِلِی أَقْدَامِهِمْ إِلَی الصَّلَاهِ وَ الْوِلْدَانِ یَتَعَلَّمُونَ الْقُرْآنَ رَحِمَهُمْ فَأَخَّرَ ذَلِکَ عَنْهُمْ.

3.  Amirul Momineen (a.s.) says, “Whenever people of the earth  commit  sins  or  get  involved  in  wrong  deeds,  the Almighty Allah intends to send down His chastisement on the  people  of  the  world.  However  when  He  sees  elderly people praying and young children learning Quran, He feels pity on them and does not send down His chastisement.”
