Ḥadīth 1

حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِیِّ بْنِ مَاجِیلَوَیْهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِیمَ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِیِّ عَنِ السَّکُونِیِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ آبَائِهِ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَیْهِمْ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص لِیُبَالِغْ أَحَدُکُمْ فِی الْمَضْمَضَهِ وَ الِاسْتِنْشَاقِ فَإِنَّهُ غُفْرَانٌ لَکُمْ وَ مَنْفَرَهٌ لِلشَّیْطَانِ.

1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) says, “For one who rinses his mouth and nose with water often this act would be a tool of salvation and he would develop a hatred for Shaitaan.”
