373. Reward of loving the progeny of Muhammad (s.a.w.s.) and hating their enemies for the sake of Allah

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ یَحْیَی عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ الْمَدَائِنِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ أَحَبَّنَا وَ أَبْغَضَ عَدُوَّنَا فِی اللَّهِ مِنْ غَیْرِ وَتِیرَهٍ وَتَرَهَا إِیَّاهُ لِشَیْ ءٍ مِنْ أَمْرِ الدُّنْیَا ثُمَّ مَاتَ عَلَی ذَلِکَ وَ عَلَیْهِ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ مِثْلُ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ غَفَرَهَا اللَّهُ لَهُ.


1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Yahya from Ahmad b. Muhammad from al-Hassan b. Mahbub from Salih b. Sahl al-Madaini from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “If one loves us and hates our enemies for the sake of Allah and dies even after having committed sins equal to the drops of water of the sea then too Allah will forgive him.”
