366. Reward of loving, hating, granting and depriving for the sake of Allah

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ مَالِکِ بْنِ عَطِیَّهَ عَنْ سَعِیدٍ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مِنْ أَوْثَقِ عُرَی الْإِیمَانِ أَنْ یُحِبَّ فِی اللَّهِ وَ یُبْغِضَ فِی اللَّهِ وَ یُعْطِیَ فِی اللَّهِ وَ یَمْنَعَ فِی اللَّهِ.


1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said, “One of the most definite signs of belief is that one loves for the sake of Allah, hates for the sake of Allah, grants for the sake of Allah and deprives for the sake of Allah.”
