 أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ یَعْقُوبَ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ یَحْیَی عَنْ أَبِی الْحَسَنِ ع أَنَّهُ کَانَ یَقُولُ مَنْ دَعَا لِإِخْوَانِهِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَ الْمُسْلِمِینَ وَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَکَّلَ اللَّهُ بِهِ عَنْ کُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ مَلَکاً یَدْعُو لَهُ.

1.  Imam Musa Kadhim (a.s.) said, “One who supplicates for believers,  the  Almighty  Allah  appoints  an  angel  for  each believer to supplicate for that person.”

 وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ أَبِی الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا ع قَالَ: مَا مِنْ مُؤْمِنٍ یَدْعُو لِلْمُؤْمِنِینَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَ الْمُسْلِمِینَ وَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ الْأَحْیَاءِ مِنْهُمْ وَ الْأَمْوَاتِ إِلَّا کَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِکُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ وَ مُؤْمِنَهٍ حَسَنَهً مُنْذُ بَعَثَ اللَّهُ آدَمَ إِلَی أَنْ تَقُومَ السَّاعَهُ.

2. And from the previous chain from Abi al-Hassan al-Ridha (a.s.) who said: “No believer supplicates for a living or dead believing men and women and Muslim men and women but that the Almighty Allah writes for him the reward of the good deeds of all believers from Adam (a.s.) till Qiyamat.”

 حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَبِی عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ فَضْلِ بْنِ یُوسُفَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَالَ کُلَّ یَوْمٍ خَمْسَاً وَ عِشْرِینَ مَرَّهً اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِینَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَ الْمُسْلِمِینَ وَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ کَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِعَدَدِ کُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ مَضَی وَ کُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ بَقِیَ إِلَی یَوْمِ الْقِیَامَهِ حَسَنَهً وَ مَحَا عَنْهُ سَیِّئَهً وَ رَفَعَ لَهُ دَرَجَهً.

3. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Ahmad b. Abi Abdillah who said it was narrated to me by Abi from Ali b. al-Nu’man from Fadhl b. Yusif from Abdillah b. Sinan from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “One who recites twenty five times everyday: Allaahummagh fir lil mu-mineena wal mu- minaati wal muslimeena wal muslimaat the Almighty Allah will write for him the reward of all the believers who passed away till those are yet to be born and wipe his sins out and increase his rank.”

 حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِیٍّ مَاجِیلَوَیْهِ عَنْ عَمِّهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْکُوفِیِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ الحارفی [الْحَارِثِیِ] عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ دَعَا لِلْمُؤْمِنِینَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ إِلَّا رَدَّ اللَّهُ عَلَیْهِ مِثْلَ الَّذِی دَعَا لَهُمْ مِنْ کُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ وَ مُؤْمِنَهٍ مَضَی مِنْ أَوَّلِ الدَّهْرِ وَ هُوَ آتٍ إِلَی یَوْمِ الْقِیَامَهِ وَ إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ لَیُؤْمَرُ بِهِ إِلَی النَّارِ یُسْحَبُ فَیَقُولُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتُ یَا رَبَّنَا هَذَا الَّذِی کَانَ یَدْعُو لَنَا فَشَفِّعْنَا فِیهِ فَیُشَفِّعُهُمُ اللَّهُ فِیهِ فَیَنْجُو مِنَ النَّارِ.

4.  Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) narrates from his predecessors that the  Holy  Prophet  (s.a.w.s.)  said,  “No  one  supplicates  for believing men or women except that the Almighty Allah will accept the same supplication for him corresponding to the number of believers who passed away until those who will be born till the Day of Judgment. If an order is given to take that person to Paradise those believers will call out, ‘O Lord! He is the same person who supplicated for us. We stand to save him’. The Almighty Allah will accept their intercession and save him from the fire (of Hell).”

 أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِیمَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَیْمُونٍ الْقَدَّاحِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص إِذَا دَعَا أَحَدُکُمْ فَلْیَعُمَّ فَإِنَّهُ أَوْجَبُ لِلدُّعَاءِ.

5.  Imam  Ja’far  Sadiq  (a.s.)  narrates  that  the  Holy  Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “When one of you supplicates it should be for everyone in general, because it a factor for acceptance of supplications.”
