Ḥadīth 1

حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَی بْنِ الْمُتَوَکِّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ یَحْیَی الْعَطَّارُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ یَعْقُوبَ بْنِ یَزِیدَ یَرْفَعُهُ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع الْآمِرُ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَ النَّاهِی عَنِ الْمُنْکَرِ خَلْقَانِ مِنْ خَلْقِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَمَنْ نَصَرَهُمَا أَعَزَّهُ اللَّهُ وَ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمَا خَذَلَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ.

1. Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) says, “Amr bin Maroof and Nahi Anil Munkar are the creatures of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime. One who helps them has honored Allah. One who insults them, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime will disgrace him.”
