Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl > Reward of reciting the following supplications before going to bed
Hadith #1

حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ مَعْرُوفٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بُکَیْرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَالَ حِینَ یَأْخُذُ مَضْجَعَهُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِی عَلَا فَقَهَرَ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِی بَطَنَ فَخَبَرَ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِی مَلَکَ فَقَدَرَ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِی یُحْیِی الْمَوْتَی وَ یُمِیتُ الْأَحْیَاءَ- وَ هُوَ عَلی کُلِّ شَیْ ءٍ قَدِیرٌ خَرَجَ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ کَهَیْئَهِ یَوْمَ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ.

1. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from al-Abbas b. Ma’ruf from Muhammad b. Bukayr from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “One who recites Alh’amdulillaahilladhee a’laa faqahara walh’amdu lillaahilladhee bat’ana fakhabara wal h’amdulillaahilladhee malaka faqadara wal h’amdulillaahilladhee yuh’yil mautaa wa yumeetul ah’yaa-u wa huwa a’laa kulli shai-in Qadeer thrice before going to bed will become as pure as a newborn baby.”
