Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl > Reward of glorifying Allah
Hadith #1

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِمْیَرِیُّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ فَضَالَهَ بْنِ أَیُّوبَ عَنْ سَیْفِ بْنِ عَمِیرَهَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ عَنْ زُرَارَهَ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع أَیُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَحَبُّ إِلَی اللَّهِ قَالَ أَنْ تُمَجِّدَ اللَّهَ.

1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to us by Abdillah b. Ja’far al-Himyari from Ahmad b. Muhammad from his father from Fadhalah b. Ayoob’ from Sayf b. ’Umayra from Muhammad b. Marwan from Zurarah who said: Zurarah narrates that he asked Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.), “What deed Allah likes best?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “His glorification.”
