230. Reward of reciting Surah Nuh

بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ کَانَ یُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَ یَقْرَأُ کِتَابَهُ لَا یَدَعُ قِرَاءَهَ سُورَهِ إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنا نُوحاً إِلی قَوْمِهِ فَأَیُّ عَبْدٍ قَرَأَهَا مُحْتَسِباً صَابِراً فِی فَرِیضَهٍ أَوْ نَافِلَهٍ أَسْکَنَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَی مَسَاکِنَ الْأَبْرَارِ وَ أَعْطَاهُ ثَلَاثَ جِنَانٍ مَعَ جَنَّتِهِ کَرَامَهً مِنَ اللَّهِ وَ زَوَّجَهُ مِائَتَیْ حَوْرَاءَ وَ أَرْبَعَهَ آلَافِ ثَیِّبٍ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ.


1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from al-Hussain b. Hashim from his father from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: Whoever has belief and firm conviction on Allah should not miss recitation of “Inna Arsalna Noohan ilaa Qaumeh” (i.e. Surah Nuh) because whoever recites Surah Nuh in his obligatory and recommended prayer, Allah would allow him to stay with the virtuous and approved persons of Allah and would award him three gardens of Paradise with his garden by His special favors. He would marry the reciter to two hundred Hoorul Ein and four thousand other women.
