Hadith #1

حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ یَعْقُوبَ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ بُرَیْدٍ عَنْ أَخِیهِ الْحُسَیْنِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ بَزِیعٍ عَمَّنْ ذَکَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَالَ فِی کُلِّ یَوْمٍ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَی کُلِّ نِعْمَهٍ کَانَتْ أَوْ هِیَ کَائِنَهٌ فَقَدْ أَدَّی شُکْرَ مَا مَضَی وَ شُکْرَ مَا بَقِیَ.

1. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Ya’qub b. Yazid from Muhammad b. Abi ’Umayr from Muhammad b. Uthman from Burayd from his brother al-Hussain from Umar b. Bazee’ from the one who mentioned it from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “One who recites: Al- h’amdulillaahi a’laa kulli ni’matin kaanat wa hiyaa kaa-inah seven times a day, has thanked (Allah) for the past and he has thanked (Allah) for the future.”
