Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عِیسَی عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْمُسَیَّبِ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ آبَائِهِ ع قَالَ: قَالَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِیٍّ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص یَا أَبَتِ مَا جَزَاءُ مَنْ زَارَکَ فَقَالَ ص مَنْ زَارَنِی أَوْ زَارَ أَبَاکَ أَوْ زَارَکَ أَوْ زَارَ أَخَاکَ کَانَ حَقّاً عَلَیَّ أَنْ أَزُورَهُ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ حَتَّی أُخَلِّصَهُ مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ.

1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to us by Sa’d b. Abdillah who said it was narrated to us by Muhammad b. al-Hussain b. Abi al-Khattab who said it was narrated to me by Uthman b. Isa from al-’Ala b. al-Museeb from Abi Ja’far from his father from his forefathers (a.s.) who said: Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) narrates from his predecessors that Imam Hasan (a.s.) asked the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.), “O father! What is the reward of your Ziyarat?” He replied, “One who performs my Ziyarat, your father and your brother, it is obligatory for me to do his Ziyarat on the Day of Judgment and free him from sins.”

حَدَّثَنِی حَمْزَهُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَلَوِیُّ ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَیْنِ الْقَوَارِیرِیُّ قرابه قِرَاءَهً لِعَلِیِّ بْنِ عُبَیْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَمِیرٍ الْبَغَوِیُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عِیسَی الرَّوَّاسِیُّ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْمُسَیَّبِ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَلِیِّ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ ع قَالَ: قَالَ الْحُسَیْنُ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَیْهِ یَا أَبَتَاهْ مَا لِمَنْ زَارَنَا قَالَ یَا بُنَیَّ مَنْ زَارَنِی حَیّاً وَ مَیِّتاً وَ مَنْ زَارَ أَبَاکَ حَیّاً وَ مَیِّتاً وَ مَنْ زَارَکَ حَیّاً وَ مَیِّتاً وَ مَنْ زَارَ أَخَاکَ حَیّاً وَ مَیِّتاً کَانَ حَقِیقٌ عَلَیَّ أَنْ أَزُورَهُ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ وَ أُخَلِّصَهُ مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ وَ أُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّهَ.

2. It was narrated to me by Hamzah b. Muhammad al-Alawi (rah) who said it was narrated to us by Muhammad b. al-Hussain al-Qawariri close to the reading to Ali b. ’Ubayd who said it was narrated to us by Ja’far b. Amir al-Baghawi who said it was narrated to us by Uthman b. Isa al-Rawasi from al-’Ala b. al-Museeb from Ja’far b. Muhammad from his father Muhammad b. Ali from his father Ali b. al-Hussain b. Ali (a.s.) who said: Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) narrates from his predecessors that Imam Husain (a.s.) asked the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.), “O father! What is the reward of a person who does our Ziyarat?” He replied, “One who does Ziyarat of me, your father and your brother in your life or after it, it is obligatory on me to visit him on the Day of Judgment, free him from sins and make him enter Paradise.”
