Reward of a fasting person who is abused but responds: I am fasting; peace be on you

Ḥadīth 1

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ بَیَانِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی الْمُغِیرَهِ عَنِ السَّکُونِیِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ یُصْبِحُ صَائِماً فَیُشْتَمُ فَیَقُولُ إِنِّی صَائِمٌ سَلَامٌ عَلَیْکَ إِلَّا قَالَ الرَّبُّ تَبَارَکَ وَ تَعَالَی اسْتَجَارَ عَبْدِی بِالصَّوْمِ مِنْ عَبْدِی أَجِیرُوهُ مِنْ نَارِی وَ أَدْخِلُوهُ جَنَّتِی.

1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) narrates from his father that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “There is no man that fasts and is abused and in response he says: I am fasting, peace be on you, but that the Lord, the Blessed and the High says to His angels: ‘My slave took refuge with his fast from this person, you save him from My fire and make him enter My Paradise’.”
