عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) الطِّيَرَةُ عَلَى مَا تَجْعَلُهَا إِنْ هَوَّنْتَهَا تَهَوَّنَتْ وَ إِنْ شَدَّدْتَهَا تَشَدَّدَتْ وَ إِنْ لَمْ تَجْعَلْهَا شَيْئاً لَمْ تَكُنْ شَيْئاً.
235. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Abdullah Bin Al-Mugheira, from Amro Bin Hureys who said: Abu Abdullah (asws) said: ‘The omen is upon what you make it to be. If you take it lightly, it would be light, if you take it seriously it would be intense, and if you do not make anything of it, it would not be anything’.
