3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Safwan from Mansur ibn Hazim who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘On Friday Ghusl (bath) is obligatory on men and women at home, and on men also on a journey; but it is not obligatory on women on a journey.’ In another Hadith it is said that women have exemption while on a journey, due to scarcity of water.”
