12. Detailed ahadeeth regarding the imams (asws) wherein isn’t any mention of the seeing

حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ نُوحٍ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُسْلِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع‏ يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنَّ الْإِمَامَ يَسْمَعُ الصَّوْتَ فِي بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ فَإِذَا وُلِدَ خُطَّ عَلَى مَنْكِبَيْهِ خَطٌّ ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا بِيَدِهِ وَ ذَلِكَ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ‏ وَ تَمَّتْ كَلِمَةُ رَبِّكَ صِدْقاً وَ عَدْلًا لا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِماتِهِ وَ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ‏.


1. It is narrated to us by Ammar Bin Yunus, from Ayoub Bin Nuh, from Al Abbas Bin Aamir, from Al Rabie Bin Muhammad Al Musly, from Muhammad Bin Marwan who said, ‘Abu Abdullah (a.s.) said: ‘O Muhammad! The Imam (a.s.) hears the voice while in the lap of his (a.s.) mother (as). When he (a.s.) is comes (to the world), a line is drawn upon his (a.s.) shoulder’. Then he (a.s.) said: ‘’Like that!’ by his (a.s.) hand, ‘And that is the Word of Allah (azwj): ‘And the Word of your Lord has been Completed, truly and justly; there is no changer of His Words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing [6:115]’’.




حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْخَزَّازِ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الْمِنْقَرِيِّ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ ظَبْيَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَقُولُ‏ إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُحْبَلَ بِإِمَامٍ أُوتِيَ بِسَبْعِ وَرَقَاتٍ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ فَأَكَلَهُنَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقَعَ فَإِذَا وَقَعَ فِي الرَّحِمِ سَمِعَ الْكَلَامَ فِي بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ فَإِذَا وَضَعَتْهُ رُفِعَ لَهُ عَمُودٌ مِنْ نُورٍ فِيمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَ الْأَرْضِ وَ كَتَبَ عَلَى عَضُدِهِ الْأَيْمَنِ‏ وَ تَمَّتْ كَلِمَةُ رَبِّكَ صِدْقاً وَ عَدْلًا لا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِماتِهِ وَ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ‏.


2. It is narrated to us by Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Ali Al Khazaz, from Al Husayn Bin Ahmad Al Minqary, from Yunus Bin Zabyan who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah (a.s.) saying: ‘When Allah (azwj) Wants an Imam (a.s.) to be borne, he (a.s.) is brought seven leaves from the Paradise and he (a.s.) eats before he (a.s.) occurs. When he (a.s.) occurs in the womb, he (a.s.) hears the speech while in the lap of his (a.s.) mother (as). When she (as) places him (a.s.), a pillar of light is raised for him (a.s.) between the sky and the earth, and it is written upon his (a.s.) right upper arm: And the Word of your Lord has been Completed, truly and justly; there is no changer of His Words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing [6:115]’’.




حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنِ الْخَيْبَرِيِّ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ ظَبْيَانَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع‏ وَ تَمَّتْ كَلِمَةُ رَبِّكَ صِدْقاً وَ عَدْلًا لا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِماتِهِ وَ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ‏ ثُمَّ قَالَ هَذَا حَرْفٌ فِي الْأَئِمَّةِ خَاصَّةً ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا يُونُسُ إِنَّ الْإِمَامَ‏ يَخْلُقُهُ اللَّهُ بِيَدِهِ لَا يَلِيهِ أَحَدٌ غَيْرُهُ وَ هُوَ جَعَلَهُ يَسْمَعُ وَ يَرَى فِي بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ حَتَّى إِذَا صَارَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ خَطَّ كَتِفَيْهِ‏ وَ تَمَّتْ كَلِمَةُ رَبِّكَ‏ الْآيَةَ.


3. It is narrated to us by Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Umar Bin Abdul Aziz, from Al Khaybari, from Yunus Bin Zabyan who said, ‘Abu Abdullah (a.s.) said: ‘And the Word of your Lord has been Completed, truly and justly; there is no changer of His Words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing [6:115]’, then said: ‘This is a phrase regarding the Imams (a.s.) in particular’. Then he (a.s.) said: ‘O Yunus! The Imam (a.s.), Allah (azwj) Created him (a.s.) by His (azwj) Hands, not followed by anyone other than him (a.s.), and He (azwj) Makes him (a.s.) hear and see in the belly of his (a.s.) mother (as) until when he (a.s.) come to the ground, Inscribes on his shoulder: And the Word of your Lord has been Completed, [6:115] – the Verse’’.




حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ الدَّيْلَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: إِذَا اسْتَقَرَّتْ نُطْفَةُ الْإِمَامِ فِي الرَّحِمِ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً نَصَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ عَمُوداً مِنْ نُورٍ فِي بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ فَإِذَا تَمَّ لَهُ أَرْبَعَةُ أَشْهُرٍ فِي بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ أَتَاهُ مَلَكٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ حَيَوَانُ فَيَكْتُبُ عَلَى عَضُدِهِ الْأَيْمَنِ‏ وَ تَمَّتْ كَلِمَةُ رَبِّكَ صِدْقاً وَ عَدْلًا لا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِماتِهِ وَ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ‏.


4. It is narrated to us by Abbad Bin Suleyman, from Muhammad Bin Suleyman Al Daylami, from his father, ‘From Abu Abdullah (a.s.) having said: ‘When the seed of the Imam (a.s.) settles in the womb for forty nights, Allah (azwj) Establishes a pillar of light for him (a.s.) in the lap of his (a.s.) mother (as). When four months are complete for him (a.s.) in the lap of his (a.s.) mother (as), an Angel called Haywaan comes to him (a.s.) and writes upon his (a.s.) right upper arm: And the Word of your Lord has been Completed, truly and justly; there is no changer of His Words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing [6:115]’’.




حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَدِيدٍ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ ظَبْيَانَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ع قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ‏ إِنَّ اللَّهَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ الْإِمَامَ مِنَ الْإِمَامِ بَعَثَ مَلَكاً فَأَخَذَ شَرْبَةً مِنْ تَحْتِ الْعَرْشِ ثُمَّ أَوْصَلَهَا أَوْ دَفَعَهَا إِلَى الْإِمَامِ فَيَمْكُثُ فِي الرَّحِمِ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْماً لَا يَسْمَعُ الْكَلَامَ ثُمَّ يَسْمَعُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَإِذَا وَضَعَتْهُ أُمُّهُ بَعَثَ ذَلِكَ الْمَلَكَ الَّذِي كَانَ أَخَذَ الشَّرْبَةَ وَ يَكْتُبُ عَلَى عَضُدِهِ الْأَيْمَنِ‏ وَ تَمَّتْ كَلِمَةُ رَبِّكَ صِدْقاً وَ عَدْلًا لا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِماتِهِ وَ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ‏.


5. It is narrated to us by Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Hadeed, from Jameel Bin Darraj, from Yunus Bin Zabyan, ‘From Ja’far (a.s.) Bin Muhammad (a.s.), he (the narrator) said, ‘I heard him (a.s.) saying: ‘When Allah (azwj) Wants to Create the Imam (a.s.) from the Imam (a.s.), Sends an Angel who takes a drink from beneath the Throne, then arrives with it or hands it over to the Imam (a.s.). He (a.s.) remains in the womb not hearing the speech, then he (a.s.) hears after that. When his (a.s.) mother (as) places him (a.s.), Allah (azwj) Sends that Angel who had taken the drink, and he writes upon his (a.s.) write shoulder: And the Word of your Lord has been Completed, truly and justly; there is no changer of His Words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing [6:115]’’.
