2. Regarding the imam (asws), if he (asws) so desires to know the knowledge, he (asws) knows

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ بَدْرِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ الشَّامِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع‏ الْعَالِمُ إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَعْلَمَ عَلِمَ‏.


1. It is narrated to me by Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Safwan Bin Yahya, from Ibn Muskan, from Badr Bin Al Waleed, from Al Rabie Al Shamy who said, ‘Abu Abdullah (a.s.) said: ‘The scholar (a.s.), when he (a.s.) desires to know, knows’’.




حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ النَّهْدِيُّ عَنِ اللُّؤْلُؤِيِّ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ فَرْقَدٍ النَّهْدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: إِنَّ الْإِمَامَ إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَعْلَمَ عَلِمَ‏.


2. It is narrated to us by Al Haysam Al Nahdy, from Al Luluie, from Safwan Bin Yahya, from Ibn Muskan, from Bureyd Bin Farqad Al Nahdy, ‘From Abu Abdullah (a.s.) having said: ‘The Imam (a.s.), when he (a.s.) desires to know, knows’’.




حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ نُوحٍ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ بَدْرِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ أَبِي رَبِيعٍ الشَّامِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: إِنَّ الْإِمَامَ إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَعْلَمَ عَلِمَ.


3. It is narrated to us by Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ayoub Bin Nuh, from Safwan Bin Yahya, from Ibn Muskan, from Badr Bin Al Waleed, from Abu Rabie, ‘From Abu Abdullah (a.s.) having said: ‘The Imam (a.s.), when he (a.s.) desires to know, knows’’.




حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُصَدِّقِ بْنِ صَدَقَةَ عَنْ عَمَّارٍ السَّابَاطِيِّ أَوْ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنِ السَّابَاطِيِّ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنِ الْإِمَامِ يَعْلَمُ الْغَيْبَ قَالَ لَا وَ لَكِنْ إِذْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَعْلَمَ الشَّيْ‏ءَ أَعْلَمَهُ اللَّهُ ذَلِكَ‏.


4. It is narrated to us by Ahmad Bin Al Hassan Bin Ali Bin Fazzal, from Amro Bin Saeed, from Musaddiq Bin Sadaqa, from Ammar Al Sabaty, or from Abu Ubeyda, from Al Sabaty who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah (a.s.) about the Imam (a.s.), ‘Does he (a.s.) know the hidden matters (Ghayb)?’ He (a.s.) said: No, but whenever he (a.s.) intends to know the thing, Allah Let him (a.s.) know that’’.




حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: إِذَا أَرَادَ الْإِمَامُ أَنْ يَعْلَمَ شَيْئاً أَعْلَمَهُ اللَّهُ ذَلِكَ‏.


5. It is narrated to us by Imran Bin Musa, from Musa Bin Ja’far, from Amro Bin Saeed, ‘From Abu Abdullah (a.s.) having said: ‘Whenever the Imam (a.s.) intends to know a thing, Allah Lets him (a.s.) know that’’.
