1. It is narrated to us by Muhammad Bin Isa, from Al Hassan Bin Ali, from Ja’far Bin Umar, from Aban, from Ma’bad who said, ‘I was with Abu Abdullah (a.s.) and he (a.s.) went walking until he (a.s.) entered a Masjid his (a.s.) father (a.s.) used to worship in, and he (a.s.) prayed Salat in a place from the Masjid. When he (a.s.) had finished, he (a.s.) said: ‘O Ma’bad! Do you see this place?’ I said, ‘Yes, may I be sacrificed for you (a.s.)!’ He (a.s.) said: ‘While my (a.s.) father (a.s.) was standing praying Salat in this place when an old man came walking to him (a.s.), of beautiful appearance. He sat down, and while he was sitting when a brown man of a beautiful face and appearance came. He said to the old man, ‘What makes you sit (here)? You haven’t been Commanded with this!’ They both stood up whispering to each other and went away and disappeared from me, and I (a.s.) did not see anything. My (a.s.) father (a.s.) said: ‘O my (a.s.) son (a.s.)! Did you (a.s.) see the old man and his companion?’ I (a.s.) said: ‘Yes, so who is the old man and who is his companion?’ He (a.s.) said: ‘The old man is the Angel of death, and the one who came was Jibraeel (as)’’.

When he (a.s.) saw him, he (a.s.) knew that he was the Angel of death. He (a.s.) said: ‘Then another man being of less sad face and good body faced him and said: ‘You have not been Commanded with this!’ He (a.s.) said: ‘While I (a.s.) was discussing with the maid and she was astounded from what she had seen, when she died’. He (the narrator) said, ‘Abu Abdullah (a.s.) said: ‘The house in which my (a.s.) father (a.s.) saw in it what he (a.s.) saw was broken down. If only the house of my (a.s.) father (a.s.) would not have been demolished. I (a.s.) would not have broken it’’.
