7. Regarding they (asws) are addressed, and hearing the voice, and there comes to them (asws) an image more magnificent than jibraeelas and mikaeelas

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الزَّيَّاتِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَقُولُ‏ إِنَّ مِنَّا لَمَنْ يُعَايِنُ مُعَايَنَةً وَ إِنَ‏ مِنَّا لَمَنْ يُنْقَرُ فِي قَلْبِهِ كَيْتَ وَ كَيْتَ وَ إِنَّ مِنَّا لَمَنْ يَسْمَعُ كَوَقْعِ السِّلْسِلَةِ تَقَعُ فِي الطَّسْتِ‏ قَالَ قُلْتُ فَالَّذِينَ يُعَايِنُونَ مَا هُمْ قَالَ خَلْقٌ‏ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ جَبْرَئِيلَ وَ مِيكَائِيلَ‏.


1. It is narrated to us by Ali Bin Ismail, from Muhammad Bin Amro Al Zayyat, from Ali Bin Abu Hamza, from Abu Baseer who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah (a.s.) saying: ‘There is one (a.s.) from us (a.s.) who witnesses with a viewing, and from us (a.s.) there is one (a.s.) it reverberates in his (a.s.) heart such and such, and from us (a.s.) there is one (a.s.) who hears like the falling chain falling in the tray’. He (the narrator) said, ‘I said, ‘The ones who are witnesses, what are they?’ He (a.s.) said: ‘A creature more magnificent than Jibraeel (as) and Mikaeel (as)’’.




حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى عَنْ زِيَادٍ الْقَنْدِيِّ عَمَّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: قُلْتُ كَيْفَ يُزَادُ الْإِمَامُ فَقَالَ مِنَّا مَنْ يُنْكَتُ فِي أُذُنِهِ نَكْتاً وَ مِنَّا مَنْ يُقْذَفُ فِي قَلْبِهِ قَذْفاً وَ مِنَّا مَنْ يُخَاطَبُ‏.


2. It is narrated to us by Muhammad Bin Isa, from Ziyad Al Qandy, from the one who mentioned it, ‘From Abu Abdullah (a.s.), he (the narrator) said, ‘I said, ‘How is the Imam (a.s.) increased?’ He (a.s.) said: ‘From us (a.s.) there is one it is resonated in his (a.s.) ears a resonance, and from us (a.s.) is one it is cast into his (a.s.) heart a casting, and from us (a.s.) is one who is addressed’’.




حَدَّثَنَا بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ رَزِينٍ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ الطَّائِفِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: إِنَّ مِنَّا لَمَنْ يُوقَرُ فِي قَلْبِهِ‏ وَ مِنَّا مَنْ يَسْمَعُ بِأُذُنِهِ وَ مِنَّا مَنْ يُنْكَتُ وَ أَفْضَلُ مِمَّنْ يَسْمَعُ‏.


3. It is narrated to us by one of our companions, from Muhammad Bin Hammad, from Ahmad Bin Razeyn, from Al Waleed Al Taify, ‘From Abu Abdullah (a.s.) having said: ‘From us (a.s.) there is one it is reverberated in his (a.s.) heart, and from us (a.s.) there is one (a.s.) who hears with his (a.s.) ears, and from us (a.s.) there is one (a.s.) whom it is resonated to (in his (a.s.) ears), and it is superior than having listened’’.




حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ شَعِرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ حَمْزَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَقُولُ‏ إِنَّ مِنَّا لَمَنْ يُنْكَتُ فِي أُذُنِهِ وَ إِنَّ مِنَّا لَمَنْ يُؤْتَى‏ فِي مَنَامِهِ وَ إِنَّ مِنَّا لَمَنْ يَسْمَعُ صَوْتَ السِّلْسِلَةِ يَقَعُ عَلَى الطَّشْتِ وَ إِنَّ مِنَّا لَمَنْ يَأْتِيهِ صُورَةٌ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ جَبْرَئِيلَ وَ مِيكَائِيلَ‏.


4. It is narrated to us by Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Ali Bin Al Numan, from Yazeed Bin Is’haq Sha’r, from Ibn Hamza who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah (a.s.) saying: ‘From us (a.s.) there is one (a.s.) it is resonated in his (a.s.) ears, and from us (a.s.) there is one (a.s.) who is come to in his (a.s.) dream, and from us (a.s.) there is one (a.s.) who hears the sound of the chain falling upon the tray, and from us (a.s.) there is one (a.s.) to whom comes an image more magnificent than Jibraeel (as) and Mikaeel (as)’’.




حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْأَهْوَازِيِّ عَنِ الْجَوْهَرِيِّ عَنِ الْبَطَائِنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَقُولُ‏ إِنَّا لَنُزَادُ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ وَ لَوْ لَمْ نُزَدْ لَنَفِدَ مَا عِنْدَنَا قَالَ أَبُو بَصِيرٍ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ مَنْ يَأْتِيكُمْ بِهِ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنَّا مَنْ يُعَايِنُ وَ إِنَ‏ مِنَّا لَمَنْ يُنْقَرُ فِي قَلْبِهِ كَيْتَ وَ كَيْتَ وَ مِنَّا مَنْ يَسْمَعُ بِأُذُنِهِ وَقْعاً كَوَقْعِ السِّلْسِلَةِ فِي الطَّسْتِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ مَنِ الَّذِي يَأْتِيكُمْ بِذَلِكَ قَالَ خَلْقٌ‏ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ جَبْرَئِيلَ وَ مِيكَائِيلَ‏.


5. It is narrated to us by Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Ahwazy, from Al Jowhary, from Al Batainy, from Abu Baseer who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah (a.s.) saying: ‘We (a.s.) are increased during the night and the day, and if we (a.s.) are not increased, what is with us (a.s.) would deplete’. Abu Baseer said, ‘May I be sacrificed for you (a.s.)! Who comes to you (a.s.) with it?’ He (a.s.) said: ‘From us (a.s.) there is one who witnesses, and from us (a.s.) there is one it is reverberated in his (a.s.) heart such and such, and from us (a.s.) there is one who hears with his (a.s.) ears an occurrence like the chain falling in the tray’. I said to him (a.s.), ‘Who is the one who comes to you (a.s.) with that?’ He (a.s.) said: ‘A creatures more magnificent than Jibraeel (as) and Mikaeel (as)’’.




حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَقُولُ‏ إِنَّ مِنَّا لَمَنْ يُنْكَتُ فِي أُذُنِهِ وَ إِنَّ مِنَّا لَمَنْ يَرَى فِي مَنَامِهِ وَ إِنَّ مِنَّا لَمَنْ يَسْمَعُ الصَّوْتَ مِثْلَ صَوْتِ السِّلْسِلَةِ الَّتِي تَقَعُ فِي الطَّسْتِ‏.


6. It is narrated to us by Ahmad Bin Musa, from Al Hassan Bin Ali Bin Al Numan, from Ibn Abu Hamza who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah (a.s.) saying: ‘From us (a.s.) there is one (a.s.) it is resonated in his (a.s.) ears, and from us (a.s.) there is one (a.s.) who sees in his (a.s.) dream, and from us (a.s.) there is one who hears the sound like the sound of the chain falling in the tray’’.




حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عُبَيْسِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَشْيَمَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَقُولُ‏ إِنَّا نُزَادُ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ وَ لَوْ لَا أَنَّا نُزَادُ لَنَفِدَ مَا عِنْدَنَا فَقَالَ أَبُو بَصِيرٍ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ مَنْ يَأْتِيكُمْ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنَّا لَمَنْ يُعَايِنُ مُعَايَنَةً وَ مِنَّا مَنْ يُنْقَرُ فِي قَلْبِهِ كَيْتَ وَ كَيْتَ وَ مِنَّا مَنْ يَسْمَعُ بِأُذُنِهِ وَقْعاً كَوَقْعِ السِّلْسِلَةِ فِي الطَّسْتِ‏ قَالَ قُلْتُ جَعَلَنِيَ اللَّهُ فِدَاكَ مَنْ يَأْتِيكُمْ بِذَاكَ قَالَ هُوَ خَلْقٌ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ جَبْرَئِيلَ وَ مِيكَائِيلَ‏.


7. It is narrated to us by Al Husayn Bin Ali, from Abdullah, from Ubeys Bin Hisham, from AL Hassan Bin Asheym, from Ali, from Abu Baseer who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah (a.s.) saying: ‘We (a.s.) get increased during the night and day, and if we (a.s.) are not increase, what is with us (a.s.) would deplete’. Abu Baseer said, ‘May I be sacrificed for you (a.s.)! Who comes to you (Imams (a.s.))?’ He (a.s.) said: ‘From us (a.s.) there is one (a.s.) who sees with his (a.s.) eyes, and from us (a.s.) there is one (a.s.) who it reverberates in his (a.s.) heart, such and such, and from us (a.s.) there is one (a.s.) who hears with his (a.s.) ears a sound like the chain falling in the tray’. He (the narrator) said: ‘May Allah (azwj) Make me to be sacrificed for you (a.s.)! Who comes to you (a.s.) with that?’ He (a.s.) said: ‘It is a creature greater than Jibraeel (as) and Mikaeel (as)’’.




حَدَّثَنَا سِنْدِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ مَيْمُونٍ الْقَدَّاحِ قَالَ: كَانَ‏ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ وَ عِنْدَهُ عَمُّهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ فَقَالَ إِنَّ مِنَّا مَنْ يَسْمَعُ الصَّوْتَ وَ لَا يَرَى الصُّورَةَ.


8. It is narrated to us by Sindy Bin Muhammad, from Aban, from Zurara, from Maymoun Al Qaddah who said, ‘Abu Ja’far (a.s.) was upon his (a.s.) bed and with him (a.s.) was his (a.s.) uncle Abdullah Bin Zayd. He (a.s.) said: ‘From us (a.s.) is one who hears the voice and does not see the face’’.
