1. It is narrated to me by Yaqoub Bin Yazeed, from Al Hassan Bin Ali Al Washa, from Abdullah Al Kinany, from Musa Bin Bakr, from Abdullah Bin Ata’a Al Makky who said, ‘I yearned to see Abu Ja’far (a.s.) and I was in Makkah. I arrived to Al-Medina, not coming except out of longing to see him (a.s.). On that night I was hit by rain and severe cold. I ended to his (a.s.) door in the middle of the night. I said (to myself), ‘I will not awaken him (a.s.) at this time, and I shall wait until morning’, and I was thinking regarding that when I heard him (a.s.) saying: ‘O maid! Open the door for the son of Ata’a, for he has been afflicted with severe cold in this night!’ She came and opened the door, and I entered to see him (a.s.)’’.

2. It is narrated to us by Yaqoub Bin Yazeed, from Al Husayn Bin Ali Al Washa, from Ali Bin Abu Hamza who said, ‘I went out with Abu Baseer, guiding him to see Abu Abdullah (a.s.). He said, ‘Do not speak and do not say anything’. I ended up with him to the door. I cleared my throat, and I heard Abu Abdullah (a.s.) saying: ‘O so and so (maid)! Open the door for Abu Muhammad!’ He (the narrator) said, ‘We entered and the lamp was in front of him (a.s.), and there was an open basked in front of him (a.s.). The thunder occurred upon me, and I went on to tremble. He (a.s.) raised his (a.s.) head towards me. He (a.s.) said: ‘You are trembling?’ I said, ‘Yes, may I be sacrificed for you (a.s.)’’.

I said, ‘I shall go to see Abu Ja’far (a.s.) and discuss in his (a.s.) presence for the remainder of my night. I went to his (a.s.) door and knocked it, and I heard Abu Ja’far (a.s.) saying: ‘If it was Abdullah Bin Ata’a, let him enter!’ He (a.s.) said: ‘Who is this?’ I said, ‘Abdullah Bin Ata’a’’. He (a.s.) said: ‘Enter!’’
