1. It is narrated to us by Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Abdul Rahman, from Bukeyr Al Hajry, ‘From Abu Ja’far (a.s.) having said: ‘Rasool-Allah (saww) said: ‘The first successor (as) that happened to be upon the surface of the earth was Hibtullah Bin Adam (as), and there is no Prophet (as) who passed away except and there was a successor (as) for him (as). The number of the entirety of the Prophets (as) was one hundred and twenty-four thousand Prophets (as), five of them (as) were the Determined Ones (Ul Al Azam) – Noah (as), and Ibrahim (as), and Musa (as) and Isa (as) and Muhammad (saww). And Ali (a.s.) Bin Abu Talib (a.s.) was the ‘Hibtullah’ for Muhammad (saww), inheriting knowledge of the Prophets (as), and knowledge of the ones who were before him (a.s.). As for Muhammad (saww), he (saww) inherited the knowledge of the ones from the Prophets (as) and the Messengers (as) who were before him (saww). And upon the pillar of the Throne is written: “Hamza (a.s.) is lion of Allah and lion of His Rasool (saww) and chief of the martyrs”; and in a corner of the Throne is written on the right of our Lord , and both His Hands are right: “Ali (a.s.) is Amir Al-Momineen (a.s.)”. This is our (a.s.) argument against the one who denier our (a.s.) right, and rejects our (a.s.) inheritances and what we (a.s.) were forbidden from the speaking, and in front of us is the conviction, so which argument can happen to be more reaching than this?’’.

2. It is narrated to us by Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Abdullah Bin Jabala, from Dawood Al Raqy, from Abu Hamza Al Sumali, from Abu Al Hijaz who said, ‘Amir Al-Momineen (a.s.) said: ‘Rasool-Allah (saww) ended one hundred and twenty-four thousand Prophets (as), and I (a.s.) ended one hundred and twenty-four thousand successors (as), and I (a.s.) encumbered and the successors (as) before me (a.s.) were not encumbered, and Allah is the Helper [12:18]. And Rasool-Allah (saww) said during his (saww) illness: ‘I (a.s.) am not fearful upon you (a.s.) that you (a.s.) might stray after me (saww), but I (saww) fear upon you (a.s.) the mischief of Quraysh, and their habits. ‘Allah is Sufficient for us and the most excellent Protector’ [3:173] upon that a third of the Quran is regarding us (a.s.) and regarding our (a.s.) Shias. So, whatever was from good, it is for us (a.s.) and for our (a.s.) Shias; and a third of the remainder, the people are our (a.s.) participants in it. So, whatever was in it of evil, it is for our (a.s.) enemies’. Then He Said: ‘‘Are they equal, those who do not know and those do know?’ [39:9] – up to the end of the Verse. So, we (a.s.) People (a.s.) of the Household (are the ones who know), and our (a.s.) Shias are the ones of understanding, and those who do not know are our (a.s.) enemies, and our (a.s.) Shias, they are the guided ones’’.
