النوادر من الأبواب في الولاية أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَمِيلَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ عَرَضَ وَلَايَتَنَا عَلَى أَهْلِ الْأَمْصَارِ فَلَمْ يَقْبَلْهَا إِلَّا أَهْلُ الْكُوفَةِ.


1. Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Fazzal, from Abu Jameela, from Muhammad Al Halby, ‘From Abu Abdullah (a.s.) having said: ‘Allah (azwj) Mighty and Majestic Presented our (a.s.) Wilayah to the people of the cities but one accepted it except the people of Al-Kufa’’.




حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع‏ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى‏ وَ لَوْ أَنَّهُمْ أَقامُوا التَّوْراةَ وَ الْإِنْجِيلَ وَ ما أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ‏ قَالَ الْوَلَايَةُ.


2. It is narrated to us by Ibn Marouf, from Hammad, from Rabie, from Muhammad bin Muslim, ‘From Abu Ja’far (a.s.) regarding Words of Allah (azwj) Blessed and Exalted: And if they had observed the Torah and the Evangel and what was Revealed to them from their Lord, [5:66] – it is the Wilayah’’.




حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ وَ غَيْرِهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ الثُّمَالِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ إِنَّ الشِّيعَةَ يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنْ تَفْسِيرِ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ عَمَّ يَتَساءَلُونَ‏ عَنِ النَّبَإِ الْعَظِيمِ‏ قَالَ فَقَالَ ذَلِكَ الَّتِي إِنْ شِئْتُ أَخْبَرْتُهُمْ وَ إِنْ شِئْتُ لَمْ أُخْبِرْهُمْ قَالَ فَقَالَ لَكِنِّي أُخْبِرُكَ بِتَفْسِيرِهَا قَالَ فَقُلْتُ‏ عَمَّ يَتَساءَلُونَ‏ قَالَ فَقَالَ هِيَ فِي أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع قَالَ كَانَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَقُولُ مَا لِلَّهِ آيَةٌ أَكْبَرُ مِنِّي وَ لَا لِلَّهِ مِنْ نَبَإٍ عَظِيمٍ أَعْظَمُ مِنِّي وَ لَقَدْ عُرِضَتْ وَلَايَتِي عَلَى الْأُمَمِ الْمَاضِيَةِ فَأَبَتْ أَنْ تَقْبَلَهَا قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ‏ قُلْ هُوَ نَبَأٌ عَظِيمٌ أَنْتُمْ عَنْهُ مُعْرِضُونَ‏ قَالَ هُوَ وَ اللَّهِ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع.


3. It is narrated to us by Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, and someone else, from Muhammad in Al Fuzeyl, from Abu Hamza Al Sumali, ‘From Abu Ja’far (a.s.) having said: ‘I said, ‘May I be sacrificed for you (a.s.)! The Shias are asking you (a.s.) about the interpretation of this Verse: What are they asking about? [78:1] About the Magnificent News [78:2]’. He (a.s.) said: ‘That is up to me (a.s.). If I (a.s.) so desire to I (a.s.) shall inform them, and if I (a.s.) so Desire, I (a.s.) shall not inform them’. Then he (a.s.) said: ‘But, I shall inform you of its interpretation’. I said, ‘What are they asking about? [78:1]’. He (the narrator said) ‘He (a.s.) said: ‘It is regarding Amir Al-Momineen (a.s.). It was so that Amir Al-Momineen (a.s.) was saying: ‘There is no Sign of Allah (azwj) Mighty and Majestic which is greater than Me (a.s.), and there is no News of Allah (azwj) greater than Mine (a.s.), and my (a.s.) Wilayah had been presented unto the previous communities, but they refused to accept it’. He (the narrator) said, ‘I said to him (a.s.), ‘Say: ‘It is a Magnificent News, [38:67] (And) you are turning away from it’ [38:68]?’ He (a.s.) said: ‘By Allah (azwj)! It is Amir Al-Momineen (a.s.)’’.




حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ عُتَيْبَةَ بَيَّاعِ الْقَصَبِ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَقُولُ‏ إِنَّ وَلَايَتَنَا عُرِضَتْ عَلَى السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ وَ الْجِبَالِ وَ الْأَمْصَارِ مَا قَبِلَهَا قَبُولَ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ.


4. It is narrated to us by Ibn Yazeed, from Ibn Sinan, from Uteyba Baya Al Qasab, from Abu Baseer who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah (a.s.) saying: ‘Our (a.s.) Wilayah was Presented to the skies and the earth and the mountains and the cities. None accepted it (like) the acceptance of the people of Al-Kufa’’.




حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَامِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ع عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى‏ وَ مَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِالْإِيمانِ فَقَدْ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ وَ هُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخاسِرِينَ‏ قَالَ تَفْسِيرُهَا فِي بَطْنِ الْقُرْآنِ يَعْنِي مَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِوَلَايَةِ عَلِيٍّ وَ عَلِيٌّ هُوَ الْإِيمَانُ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ع عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى‏ وَ كانَ الْكافِرُ عَلى‏ رَبِّهِ ظَهِيراً قَالَ تَفْسِيرُهَا عَلَى بَطْنِ الْقُرْآنِ يَعْنِي عَلِيٌّ هُوَ رَبُّهُ فِي الْوَلَايَةِ وَ الطَّاعَةِ وَ الرَّبُّ هُوَ الْخَالِقُ الَّذِي لَا يُوصَفُ وَ قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع إِنَّ عَلِيّاً آيَةٌ لِمُحَمَّدٍ وَ إِنَّ مُحَمَّداً يَدْعُو إِلَى وَلَايَةِ عَلِيٍّ أَ مَا بَلَغَكَ قَوْلُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَعَلِيٌّ مَوْلَاهُ اللَّهُمَّ وَالِ مَنْ وَالاهُ وَ عَادِ مَنْ عَادَاهُ فَوَالَى اللَّهَ مَنْ وَالاهُ وَ عَادَى اللَّهَ مَنْ عَادَاهُ وَ أَمَّا قَوْلُهُ‏ إِنَّكُمْ لَفِي قَوْلٍ مُخْتَلِفٍ‏ فَإِنَّهُ عَلِيٌّ يَعْنِي إِنَّهُ لَمُخْتَلَفٌ عَلَيْهِ وَ قَدِ اخْتَلَفَ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةُ فِي وَلَايَتِهِ فَمَنِ اسْتَقَامَ عَلَى وَلَايَةِ عَلِيٍّ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَ مَنْ‏ خَالَفَ وَلَايَةَ عَلِيٍّ دَخَلَ النَّارَ وَ أَمَّا قَوْلُهُ‏ يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ‏ فَإِنَّهُ يَعْنِي عَلِيّاً مَنْ أُفِكَ عَنْ وَلَايَتِهِ أُفِكَ على‏ [عَنِ‏] الْجَنَّةِ فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ‏ يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ‏ وَ أَمَّا قَوْلُهُ‏ وَ إِنَّكَ لَتَهْدِي إِلى‏ صِراطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ‏ إِنَّكَ لَتَأْمُرُ بِوَلَايَةِ عَلِيٍّ ع وَ تَدْعُو إِلَيْهَا وَ عَلِيٌّ هُوَ الصِّرَاطُ الْمُسْتَقِيمُ وَ أَمَّا قَوْلُهُ‏ فَاسْتَمْسِكْ بِالَّذِي أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ إِنَّكَ عَلى‏ صِراطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ‏ إِنَّكَ عَلَى وَلَايَةِ عَلِيٍّ وَ عَلِيٌّ هُوَ الصِّرَاطُ الْمُسْتَقِيمُ وَ أَمَّا قَوْلُهُ‏ فَلَمَّا نَسُوا ما ذُكِّرُوا يَعْنِي فَلَمَّا تَرَكُوا وَلَايَةَ عَلِيٍّ وَ قَدْ أُمِرُوا بِهَا فَتَحْنا عَلَيْهِمْ أَبْوابَ كُلِّ شَيْ‏ءٍ يَعْنِي مَعَ دَوْلَتِهِمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ مَا بَسَطَ إِلَيْهِمْ فِيهَا وَ أَمَّا قَوْلُهُ‏ حَتَّى إِذا فَرِحُوا بِما أُوتُوا أَخَذْناهُمْ بَغْتَةً فَإِذا هُمْ مُبْلِسُونَ‏ يَعْنِي قِيَامَ الْقَائِمِ.


5. It is narrated to us by Abdullah Bin Aamir, from Abu Abdullah Al Barqy, from Al Husayn Bin Usman, from Muhammad Bin Al Fuzeyl, from Abu Hamza who said, ‘I asked Abu Ja’far (a.s.) about Words of Allah (azwj) Blessed and Exalted: and the one who commits Kufr with the Eman his work would be confiscated, and in the Hereafter he would be of the losers [5:5]. He (a.s.) said: ‘Its interpretation in the esoteric of the Quran means ones who disbelieves (commits Kufr) with the Wilayah of Ali (a.s.), and Ali, he (a.s.) is the Eman’. He (the narrator) said, ‘I asked Abu Ja’far (a.s.) about Words of Allah (azwj) the Exalted: and the Kafir has always been a backer against his Lord [25:55]. He (a.s.) said: ‘Its interpretation upon esoteric of the Quran means Ali (a.s.), he is his lord regarding the Wilayah and the obedience, and the Lord (azwj), He (azwj) is the Creator Who cannot be described’. And Abu Ja’far (a.s.) said: ‘Ali (a.s.) is a Sign for Muhammad (saww), and Muhammad (saww) called to the Wilayah of Ali (a.s.). Has it not reached you the words of Rasool-Allah (saww): ‘One whose Master (saww) I (saww) was, so Ali (a.s.) is his Master (a.s.)’. O Allah (azwj)! Befriend the one who befriends him (a.s.), and be Inimical to the one inimical to him (a.s.)’? Allah (azwj) Befriends the one befriends him (a.s.) and Allah (azwj) is Inimical to the one inimical to him (a.s.). And as for His (azwj) Words: You are at variance in words [51:8], it is Ali (a.s.), meaning their differing upon him (a.s.), and this community has differed regarding his (a.s.) Wilayah, The one who is steadfast upon the Wilayah of Ali (a.s.) would enter the Paradise, and one who opposes the Wilayah of Ali (a.s.) would enter the Fire. And as for His (azwj) Words: He is deluded away from it, one (who is) deluded [51:9]. It means Ali (a.s.), one who is deluded away from his (a.s.) Wilayah has been deluded away from the Paradise, for these are His (azwj) Words: He is deluded away from it, one (who is) deluded [51:9]. And as for His (azwj) Words: and surely you (Rasool) guide to the Straight Path [42:52], you (saww) are ordering with the Wilayah of Ali (a.s.) and calling to it, and Ali (a.s.), he (a.s.) is the Straight Path. And as for His (azwj) Words: Therefore adhere with that which is Revealed unto you, surely you are upon a Straight Path [43:43] – you (saww) are upon the Wilayah of Ali (a.s.), and Ali (a.s.), he (a.s.) is the Straight Path. And as for His (azwj) Words: But when they forgot what they had been’’. Reminded with, [6:44] – means, when you neglected the Wilayah of Ali (a.s.) and you have been Commanded with it, We Opened upon them the doors of all things, - meaning with their governments in the world, and what was extended to them in it. And as for His (azwj) Words: until when they were rejoicing with what they had been Given, We Seized them suddenly, so then they were in despair [6:44] – meaning Rising of Al-Qaim (a.s.)’’.




حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى‏ وَ إِنِّي لَغَفَّارٌ لِمَنْ تابَ وَ آمَنَ وَ عَمِلَ صالِحاً ثُمَّ اهْتَدى‏ قَالَ وَ مَنْ تَابَ مِنْ ظُلْمٍ وَ آمَنَ مِنْ كُفْرٍ وَ عَمِلَ صَالِحاً ثُمَّ اهْتَدَى إِلَى وَلَايَتِنَا وَ أَوْمَأَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى صَدْرِهِ‏.


6. It is narrated to us by Muhammad Bin Isa, from Safwan, from Yaqoub Bin Shuayb who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah (a.s.) about the Words of Allah (azwj) Blessed and Exalted: And I am Forgiving to the one who repents and believes and does righteous deeds, then (follows) righteous Guidance [20:82]. He (a.s.) said: ‘And one who repents from an injustice and Is safe from Kufr, and does righteous deeds, then is guided to our (a.s.) Wilayah’, and gestured by his (a.s.) hand to his (a.s.) chest’’.




حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُوسَى الْخَشَّابِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَسَّانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع‏ فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَ‏ فِطْرَتَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ النَّاسَ عَلَيْها قَالَ فَقَالَ عَلَى التَّوْحِيدِ وَ مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص وَ عَلِيٍّ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ.


7. It is narrated to us by Ahmad Bin Musa, from Al Hassan Bin Musa Al Khashab, from Ali Bin Hassaan, from Abdul Rahman Bin Kaseer, ‘From Abu Abdullah (a.s.) regarding Words of Mighty and Majestic: the nature of Allah which He has Natured the people upon. [30:30]. He (a.s.) said: ‘Upon the Tawheed, and Muhammad (saww) is Rasool (saww) of Allah (azwj) and Ali (a.s.) is Amir (ruler) of the Momineen’’’.




مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ الثُّمَالِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَ‏ وَ لا تَجْهَرْ بِصَلاتِكَ وَ لا تُخافِتْ بِها وَ ابْتَغِ بَيْنَ ذلِكَ سَبِيلًا قَالَ تَفْسِيرُهَا وَ لَا تَجْهَرْ بِوَلَايَةِ عَلِيٍّ وَ لَا بِمَا أَكْرَمْتَهُ بِهِ حَتَّى نَأْمُرَكَ‏ بِذَلِكَ‏ وَ لا تُخافِتْ بِها يَعْنِي وَ لَا تَكْتُمْهَا عَلِيّاً ع وَ أَعْلِمْهُ وَ مَا أَكْرَمْتَهُ بِهِ وَ أَمَّا قَوْلُهُ‏ وَ ابْتَغِ بَيْنَ ذلِكَ سَبِيلًا فَإِنَّهُ يَعْنِي اطْلُبْ إِلَيَّ وَ سَلْنِي أَنْ آذَنَ لَكَ أَنْ تَجْهَرَ بِوَلَايَةِ عَلِيٍّ وَ ادْعُ النَّاسَ إِلَيْهَا فَأَذِنَ لَهُ يَوْمَ غَدِيرِ خُمٍّ.


8. Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Al Nazar Bin Suweyd, from Khalid Bin Hammad and Muhammad Bin Al Fazeyl, from Abu Hamza Al Sumali, ‘From Abu Ja’far (a.s.), he (the narrator) said, ‘I asked about Words of Allah (azwj) Mighty and Majestic: And neither be loud with your Salat nor be silent with it, and seek a way between that’ [17:110]. Its interpretation is, do not speak the Wilayah of Ali (a.s.) or of its prestige until We (azwj) Order you (saww) to do so, nor be silent with it, meaning do not hide it from Ali (a.s.) and let him (a.s.) know what he (a.s.) has been Made prestigious with. And as for His (azwj) Words: and seek a way between that’ [17:110] - meaning, he (saww) sought to speak aloud of the Wilayah of Ali (a.s.) and call to the people towards it, and was authorised to do so on the day of Ghadeer Khum’’.




حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ الثُّمَالِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَ‏ وَ أَنَّ هذا صِراطِي مُسْتَقِيماً فَاتَّبِعُوهُ‏ قَالَ هُوَ وَ اللَّهِ عَلِيٌّ الْمِيزَانُ‏ وَ الصِّرَاطُ.


9. It is narrated to us by Imran Bin Musa, from Musa Bin Ja’far, from Ali Bin Asbaat, from Muhammad Bin Al Fazeyl, from Abu Hamza Al Sumali, ‘From Abu Abdullah (a.s.), he (the narrator) said, ‘I asked him (a.s.) about Words of Allah (azwj) Mighty and Majestic: And surely this one is My Straight Path, therefore obey him [6:153]. He (a.s.) said: ‘By Allah (azwj), it is Ali (a.s.), the Scale and the Path’’.




عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ حَمْدَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْيَمَانِيِّ عَنْ منبع عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ صَبَّاحٍ الْمُزَنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: عُرِجَ بِالنَّبِيِّ ص إِلَى السَّمَاءِ مِائَةً وَ عِشْرِينَ مَرَّةً مَا مِنْ مَرَّةٍ إِلَّا وَ قَدْ أَوْصَى اللَّهُ‏ النَّبِيَّ ص بِوَلَايَةِ عَلِيٍّ وَ الْأَئِمَّةِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا أَوْصَاهُ بِالْفَرَائِضِ.


10. Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Saeed, from Hamdan Bin Suleyman, from Abdullah Bin Muhammad Al Yamani, from manie, from Yunus, from Sabbah Al Muzanny, ‘From Abu Abdullah (a.s.) having said: ‘There were ascensions with the Prophet (saww) to the sky, one hundred and twenty times. There is none from a time except and Allah (azwj) had Bequeathed the Prophet (saww) with the Wilayah of Ali (a.s.) and the Imams (a.s.) from after him (a.s.), more than what He (azwj) had Bequeathed him (saww) with the Salat’’.
