My father said, ‘Sa’ad Bin Abdullah narrated to us, from Muawiya Bin Hakeem, from Ali Ibn Al Hassan Bin Rabaat, from Al A’ala Bin Razeyn, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, and someone else, Abu Abdullah (a.s.) has said: ‘The Zakat is Permissible for the one who has seven hundred Dirhams and there is no profession for him, and he takes out its Zakat from it and buys from it some livelihood (foodstuff etc.) for his family, and gives some of it to his companions, and the Zakat is not Permissible for the one who has fifty Dirhams, and he has a profession to earn livelihood by it for his family’.
